These courses introduce and/or refresh participants' knowledge, skills and capability in a particular subject. They are usually delivered in an atmosphere that promotes individual as well as group interaction, and can be developed and delivered to participants at all levels, from an entry-level new-hire to the chief executive officer. These courses are generally measured with a Level One (Course Critique); however, Level Two (Pre/Post Test Knowledge Assessment) can be provided upon request. Awareness courses are an excellent introduction for those who need to have a basic understanding of a subject area but are not necessarily expected to be experts in that field.
Tactical / Lower Threat Bomb Technician Courses
These courses provide new and/or advanced technical training to tactical responders who are assigned to prevent, respond and/or mitigate terrorist or criminal threats. As with the Awareness Courses above they will introduce and/or refresh participants' knowledge, skills and capability in a particular subject but because they are intended to provide advanced technical training to government, military and law enforcement and first responder. Special Operations /Special Warfare and private security roles there are likely to be pre-requisites for those wishing to attend. These courses are generally measured with a Level One (Course Critique) and a Level Two (Pre/Post Test Knowledge Assessment).
High Threat Bomb Technician Courses
These courses follow similar pre-requisites as established for Tactical Courses above with the additional requirement being that participants are graduates of a recognised EOD school and are serving as active duty/on-call bomb squad members/technicians. These courses are generally measured with a Level One (Course Critique) and a Level Two (Pre/Post Test Knowledge Assessment).
Maritime Courses
These courses follow similar pre-requisites as established for Tactical Courses above, therefore participants are likely to be working in/as public safety divers, firearms, SWAT, port security personnel, marine boat crews, and similar. Maritime courses are generally measured with a Level One (Course Critique) and a Level Two (Pre/Post Test Knowledge Assessment).
Specialist Courses and Exercise Planning and Implementation Courses
These courses cover a broad spectrum of prevention, readiness, mitigation, and if required, recovery elements. Involving scenario-based exercises, they can range in scope from a half-day tabletop discussion to a complete pre-deployment-to-post-recovery event. Tabletop exercises provide effective pre-deployment planning determinations and deployment exercises (generally 1–3 day events) are designed to accurately evaluate an organisation's mission-readiness capability.
Equipment Training
Courses can be run to cover all typres of equipment in service with EOD / C-IED units around the world. Our instrctors are very conversdant with most types and manufacture of EOD/C-IED Equipment.
